2024 SCV Member Fire Mitigation Survey

Sonoma County Vintners has regular meetings with government officials, including the California Insurance Commissioner, regarding the availability of fire insurance, insurance premiums, and the steps wineries have been taking to mitigate fire risk. Please share your winery’s experience in taking steps to mitigate fire risk to your facility and/or vineyard, so that we may continue to have informed conversations with local, state and federal goverment representatives and accurately advocate for our members.

We would also like to share your fire mitigation endeavors with the public, so that they will have an understanding of how your fire risk mitigation work will have a positive impact on our entire community.
