Pour + Explore Consumer Wine Tasting Series

Pour + Explore is an exciting new tasting experience produced by Sonoma County Vintners in collaboration with Sommelier Christopher Sawyer! Discover wonderful wines that epitomize the essence of each winemaker’s individual style and the region’s distinctive vineyards. These festive evenings include a walk-around tasting of a curated selection of wines from each vintner, along with light appetizers.

Meet the Sommelier

Christopher Sawyer is an internationally-renowned sommelier, wine judge, consultant, wine educator and public speaker. Voted Best Sommelier of Sonoma County 2023 by Bohemian Magazine for the tenth consecutive year, he is also a recipient of many more prestigious awards and industry honors. We are deeply saddened to learn of the passing of our friend Bob McClenahan. Bob was an incredible photographer who we had the privilege of working with over many years. He captured beautiful images, making it all look easy—when we knew it wasn’t. They say a picture is worth a thousand words, and while Bob was quiet and a man of few words, his photos spoke volumes. We are truly grateful to have known him. Our thoughts and condolences go out to his family. Rest in peace dear friend.
