SCV represents over 250 wineries throughout the county. The organization actively promotes Sonoma County through educational programming; advocates for its members at local, state and federal levels; and contributes to the local communities through the Sonoma County Vintners Foundation. Join Sonoma County Vintners at Winemaker Wednesdays with our partner Chef Dustin Valette of The Matheson restaurant at 106 Matheson Street, Healdsburg, CA!

Stop by every other Wednesday from 5:00pm to 6:00pm at the Matheson’s beautiful Wine Wall. Mix, mingle and meet some of Sonoma County’s most creative winemakers and winery principles, while tasting some amazing selections of their world-class wines.

Sonoma County Vintners Foundation (SCVF) is an accredited 501c(3) nonprofit organization founded in 1988. Its purpose is to consistently support local nonprofit organizations to help those in our community who are most in need. SCVF elevates lives to cultivate a vibrant and diverse Sonoma County with proceeds from year-round philanthropic giving by its community of SCVF Changemakers and its annual Sonoma County Wine Auction. SCVF’s two main initiatives, Community Grants and the Emergency Relief Fund, impact needs ranging from the immediate to the long term.

SCV is looking for trade who are actively seeking to expand and diversify the selection of Sonoma County wines on their wine lists, retail offerings and import lists. These are qualified buyers who already have experience with Sonoma County wines, and an immersive trip would truly expand their knowledge and excitement for Sonoma County wines. "With the support of the Sonoma County Vintners Foundation, @californiapoetsintheschools inspires youth in Sonoma County to pay attention, to articulate their lived realities and to claim their stories as a pathway to true agency and change. In these poetry programs, participants learn how to use poetry creation and performance as a tool for transformation and self-empowerment, while at the same time building critical literacy skills that help advance academic engagement and achievement. This grant supports our trauma-informed poetry creation programs in K-12 schools, the Youth Poet Laureate program of Sonoma County, and the Poetry Out Loud initiative in up to a dozen local high schools. As a result of this important funding partnership, California Poets in the Schools offers continuous opportunities for local youth to engage in a top-notch literary arts curriculum throughout the grade levels." Sonoma County Vintners Foundation (SCVF) is pleased to announce that its newly reimagined Sonoma County Wine Celebration (SCWC) has raised nearly $1.6 million. These proceeds will continue to fund SCVF Community Grants for nonprofit organizations in the areas of education & literacy, health & human services, the environment, and arts & culture as well as the Emergency Relief Fund. The SCWC Live Auction was held at the beautiful @chateaustjean on September 21. Since the auction’s inception more than $43 million has been raised, directly benefiting the Sonoma County community.
