Arizona Daily Sun December Holiday Wines Wine Sample Deadline October 10
John Vankat with the Arizona Daily Sun is requesting samples from SCV members to taste for his upcoming column on December holiday wines. He plans to emphasize wines suitable for gifting. He typically recommends 30-35 wines and his column is scheduled to run on December 7, 2023.
Pre-approval via email is required before submitting samples. John typically needs several days to respond to offers of samples. Please note that he expects to be unable to taste wines that he has not pre-approved. Please reach out to John Vankat directly with any questions regarding the submission process or deadlines.
Submission Details
- Pre-approval to send wine is required.
- Email vankatjl@miamioh.edu for approval.
- Most wines featured usually cost under $75 and have distribution in Arizona.
- Wines lacking distribution in Arizona must have a suggested retail price of at least $50.
- Send samples, fact sheet, SRP, and name of the Arizona distributor (if any).
- Names of retail outlets are not needed.
- All items must be received by October 10, 2023.
